Pet Policy + Registration Form
In accordance with Red Haus Bylaws, owners are required to register all pets residing on the property. The following Pet Policy was passed by the Board of Directors as of March 4, 2024, and distributed to all Owners and Residents on March 15, 2024. This policy comes into effect on April 15, 2024. Red Haus by-laws are clear regarding the Powers of the Corporation, Violation of Bylaws, Damage or Destruction and Use and Occupancy Restrictions. Please review the following sections of the bylaws for CCN 051 4332 so that you are familiar with your pet-related responsibilities and restrictions:

The following is required for the approval of your Pet Registration:
A) Completed Pet Form
B) Picture of pet(s)
C) Copy of City of Calgary Pet License (for dogs and cats only)

Terms and Conditions:
Pets found to be unregistered are subject to a $250.00 monetary sanction to the Unit Owner
Pet Registration is required before the pet resides on the property
No more than 2 pets (2 dogs, 2 cats or 1 of each) are permitted➢ No livestock, rodents, reptiles, arachnids, fowl, or exotic animals are permitted.
The pet shall not be allowed on Common Property unless it is on a leash or contained in a cage, carrier and in the care, custody, and control of a responsible person.
The pet is not to be left unattended or tied to railings or posts on privacy areas.
The pet shall not be permitted to urinate in or on planters, shrubs, flowers, or trees.
The owner shall be responsible for the immediate and sanitary disposal of all excrement originating from the pet at Pet Stations or designated garbage bins.
The pet owner shall ensure that the pet does not cause or create a nuisance of any kind to other residents.
The unit owner shall be responsible for all costs associated with all damage or destruction caused, directly or indirectly, by the pet to the common, managed, or exclusive use property.
If the Corporation, in its sole and absolute discretion, deems any pet to be a nuisance, the Corporation may require the owner to remove the pet from the premises with 15 days’ notice.
Failure to submit an application or any breach of this policy will be subject to a monetary sanction of an amount determined by the Board of Directors in accordance with the Bylaw Violation Policy.
